Outdoor Activities

Walking, hiking and biking trails abound in the area. Two bikes will be provided with your rental.

Le Crestet, an historic village perched on a hillside, is just 5 minutes away, and provides very convenient hiking, jogging and biking paths.

There are many hiking and biking trails, indicated by a yellow metal marker. The GR4 (Grande Randonnée) passes through the hills south of Vaison, between Roaix and Malaucène. Most of the nearby villages (e.g. Le Crestet, Sablet, Gigondas, Beaumes-de-Venise, Faucon) have trails passing throughout.

Mont Ventoux offers challenging biking and hiking trails. Two paths of the Grande Randonnée pass through Mont Ventoux: GR4 straddles the crest; GR9 passes on the northern side by the Brantes forest.

Detailed hiking maps and guidebooks will be available in the apartment.
