Although Vaison has a busy Tuesday morning market, and the most important in the region, other nearby towns in the area have markets during the week: Malaucène is Wednesday, Nyons, Thursday; Carpentras, Friday.

Carpentras is also the site of an important, professional truffle market on Friday mornings from late December through early March (and has the oldest synagogue in France.)

Vaison has a "brocante" (flea market) on the Place Montfort, generally the third Sunday of the month.
